Citrus Coaster Instructions

Coaster

With Color A make a MR:

Round 1: ch 2, dc 12 (12). Partially close the MR. DO NOT CLOSE ALL THE WAY. Next, slst to the top of the first chain.
Round 2: ch 2, dc inc 12 (24). Slst to the top of the first dc.
Round 3: ch2, [dc, dc inc] (6×) (36). Slst to the top of the first dc.
Round 7: ch 2, [dc, dc inc, dc] (48), slst to the top of the first dc.

Surface & Finish

With color B, slst on the surface, into the post of a dc in the final row.
With one dc post left, take color B and wrap it around the project 3 times loosely.
Cut off yarn and pull through the stitch.

Attach a tapestry needle and insert underneath the first surface slst. Insert into the last slst, creating false slst to close the round.
Insert needle through the center of MR. Find surface slst 8 stitches over, insert hook from back of work. Repeat 5 more times.

Weave in ends of color B. Fully close MR and weave in end.
