Bee Keychain Instructions

Stitches:

• MR – magic ring
• slst – slip stitch
• sc – single crochet
• inc – 2 stitches in the same spot
• seamless join – remove hook from working loop, in the next stitch insert hook from behind. Grab working loop and pull through to the back.

Body

Round 1: Color A, MR, sc 6, slst to the top of the first sc. [6]
Round 2: sc inc 6, slst to the top of the first sc. [12]
Round 3: sc 1, inc 6, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 4: sc 18, color change to color B, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 5: sc 18, color change to color A, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 6: sc 18, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]

Insert safety eyes in round 2 (to the working loop, which is the bottom of the bee); insert polyfil.

Round 7: sc 18, color change to color B, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 8: sc 18, color change to color A, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 9: sc 18, color change to color B, slst to the top of the first sc. [18]
Round 10: sc dec 6 [6]. Weave in tail through stitches to close the circle.

Wings

Round 1: With color C, MR, sc 6, cut yarn, tie tails together. Repeat for total of 2 wings.

Assembly: Sew in wings in row 6.
Insert keychain ring between wings, attach keychain, and close open ring.
